Gem,

This one goes to the hardworking parents out there to stop and think for a while and weigh what is more important to them, their financial success or watching and being there for their kids.

Good thing you chose your kids welfare. Of course, some parents out there don't have the same options as other people have and had to keep working these long hours with strangers wondering how they became strangers in their houses.

Z

At least the doctor realized what he is missing! Too often many people are buried into their careers because they are after the monetary comfort (yeah, people just don't get contented even after they are able to establish their primary needs!)

I had the same realization too. I left my kid to find a good paying engineering job which is several hours away from my hometown. Whenever I get home on some restdays I always realize that my kid is growing up fast (and I'm getting haggard too). I left that job a long time ago because of that same realization...

Jhong,

Parang iba ang naiisip ko na iniisip mo. Di ko na nga lang iisipin at pareho tayo ng isip.

I told you that you can write one while you're on the bus. That two hour commute would definitely inspire a lot of stories.

Z
